
Residential slabs and footings poured to the engineer’s drawings — waffle pod, stiffened raft and strip footings, plus shed, garage and workshop slabs. We do the prep, the steel and the pour, so there’s no gap between trades for anything to fall through.
A slab that’s out of level, out of square or short on cover doesn’t stay a concrete problem for long — it becomes a framing problem, then a cladding problem, then a door-that-won’t-close problem. We’d rather spend the extra half-day getting the set-out right.

Your engineer specifies the slab type based on the soil classification and what’s going on top. Here’s what each one actually means on the ground.
Polystyrene pods laid on the ground with reinforced ribs poured between them. Minimal excavation, good thermal performance, and the most common residential slab on the Coast.
Most commonA conventional slab with beams dug into the ground beneath it. Suits reactive clay sites and sloping blocks where the slab needs more stiffness across the footprint.
Reactive sitesTrenched and poured footings carrying load-bearing walls, for suspended floors, extensions, retaining and block work. Dug, stepped and poured to the drawings.
Extensions & wallsThickened-edge slabs sized for the shed kit, with the correct rebate, bolt set-out and falls. Squared up and dead level so the frame goes together without a fight.

Send through the engineer’s drawings and soil report. We price the slab from them and give you a written fixed quote and a date.
Site cut, levels set, formwork up and squared, membrane down. Beams and pods laid out exactly as the drawings show them.
Mesh and bar tied with correct cover and chairs, penetrations set, then left clean and ready for the pre-pour inspection.
Placed, vibrated, screeded and power-floated to a flat finish, then cured, stripped and cleared so the frame can start.
